First two weeks of Summer Camp

Welcome to our 2011 Summer Camp!!!

Our Summer Camp will be full of fun activities, games and of course Spanish!!!!

Sapitos Class teachers: Miss Yeni and Miss Karla Estala

The theme for these weeks is “Summer has arrived”

And the Sapitos are learning about  the sea animals and the beach.

The words we are  learning  are:

• Los peces-The fish
• El delfin-The dolphin
• La tortuga de mar-The sea turtle
• El cangrejo-The crab
• El pulpo-The octopus
• La ballena-The whale
• El caballito de mar-The sea horse
• El tiburon-The shark
• La playa-The beach
• El mar-The sea
• La arena-The sand
• El sol-The sun
• Los ojos-The eyes
• Las gafas-The sunglasses

Items your child  Must Bring at the Beginning on Summer Camp

·        Extra Summer Clothes

·        Hat

·        Blanket

·        Repellent ( if you wish)(Please fill out Authorization Form)

Special Events this week:

• Friday June 10: Bring your Sunglasses to school!!!
• Friday is also Truman’s Birthday. Happy Birthday!!!

Don't forget our Splash days are on Tuesday  and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
For Splash days don't forget to bring:

• Swimsuit
• Towel
• Sunblock - Don't forget to sign the permission slip!
• Swimming shoes

Also, Please don't forget to pick up your child's wet clothes at the end of the day.
