Theme of
the Week (Tema de la Semana): “The
Dinosaurs / Los Dinosaurios”
Dinosaurs
will be our theme this week. Dinosaurs, animals related to reptiles and birds,
lived during an era called the Mesozoic Era.
Reading
the books “First Big Book of Dinosaurs” by
Catherine D. Hughes and “Dinosaurs
Alive!” by Amanda Li and Mark Robertson, we will learn about names, sizes and
habitat of these animals.

Special events this week (Eventos especiales esta
semana):
Monday: We will make a dinosaur.
Tuesday: We will make a Paleontologist’s hat and a detector
of fossils.
Wednesday: We will have a theater with
shadows of dinosaurs. We also will make muffins and pink lemonade for the
dinosaurs.
Thursday: The children will bring their favorite dinosaur
to share.
Friday: We will have an expedition to dig and find
dinosaurs in the sand box at the park.

Please:

Don’t forget to bring your child wearing his/her
swim suit on splash days.
·
Make sure to bring extra clothes for your child,
especially on splash days, and also your child’s belongings labeled.
