Theme of the Month/Week (Tema del Mes/Semana): “My Community and me/ Mi Comunidad y yo”

This week we will be talking about the means of transportation and we will be related some of them to our community helpers, like the police car/policeman, the firetruck/firefighter, the ambulance/doctor, nurse, the school bus/the bus driver.

Special words: I am sorry/lo siento, again/otra vez, help me/ayudame, front/adelante, back/atras, turn on/prender, turn off/apagar, how do you say?/como se dice?.

Shapes: square and rectangle.

Friendly Remainders (Recordatorios a los Padres de Familia):

It is time to start working in our “All Art Together” project for November. Our parents had demonstrated that they are wonderful artists working with their children and have been displaying creativity and imagination. This time the project is about Thanskgiving Celebration, you are free to work with your children using different materials and techniques. Be as much creative as you can, any art job is welcomed and appreciated.

Homework this week (Tarea de esta semana):

An efficient grip on the pencil uses a tripod grasp (thumb, index, and middle fingers). This week we will be working in fine motor activities to help your children develop the small muscles of the hand and improve pencil grasp.
