Theme of the Month/Week (Tema del Mes/Semana): “My Country/ Mi Pais”

We continue talking about our Country and the State where we live. We will talk about the President, the White House, the Flag, the eagle and the symbols that identify North Carolina.

We also will talk about the story of Thanksgiving and how we celebrate this special event.  

Special words: The Pilgrims/los Peregrinos, the Indian/los Indios, share/compartir, give thanks/dar gracias, the turkey/el pavo

Special events this week/Welcome/Birthdays (Eventos especiales esta semana/Bienvenida/Cumpleanos):

The Student of this week is      RICHARD DE JESUS KOSHEL. We are so excited to hear more about him and his family. His grandparents will join us and give him a surprise on Wednesday.

Our especial event this week is Thanksgiving Celebration on Wednesday 27^th, at 8.30 a.m. in the classroom. Our children are working so hard for this event, don’t miss it!

All Art Together: We are still waiting for your creation about Thanksgiving, there are plenty of space in our classroom for your project.

Please don’t forget to check your child’s Report Card, sign it and return it to the teachers.

Homework this week (Tarea de esta semana):

This week we will work with scissors, play-doh and hole punch.
