Hi SapitosParents!

 This is our last week working in our theme “Our Senses’” / “Mis Sentidos,” .Children have learned the importance of using our senses and how we use them to explore things around us.

Next week we will be talking about the importance of taking care of our senses:

Monday: See

Tuesday: Taste

Wednesday: Touch

Thursday: Hear

Friday: Smell

Tuesday October 7th: Please send your child with his / her toothpaste and toothbrush (everything needs to be label) We will have a special activity that day.

We will also review some shapes as square and rectangle and have fun making lemon jello this week.

Now that the weather is changing, we ask all parents, to please take all summer clothes home and bring adequate clothing for the weather. Also, don’t forget to bring a jacket for your child, for cooler days.

We want to welcome Alex who is now part of the Sapitos Class. Alex has transferred from our sister Raleigh location and we are very excited to have them in our community!

Happy Birthday to Benjamin Brown, who is turning 4 this Sunday October 4th.  FELIZ CUMPLEAñOS!

Important Upcoming Dates:

·             October 13th (Monday): Columbus Day Celebration.

Sapitos Parents, family and friends: Please join us on Monday October 13th for a special celebration our Sapitos have prepared together with the Ositos class in our Lobby. We hope to see everyone !

·             October 15th: Sff! Uniform Picture Day.

·             October 16th: Fall Picture Day. Make sure to write Fall pictures under Special Request Section so we know you are interested in Fall pictures. We will be the first class to start with individuals pictures at 8:30 am.

** Teddy Bear Forms were sent home already. Make sure to return them as soon as possible.

·          October 20th: 1st Field Trip (All classrooms) Save the date and join us on this amazing first field trip to Ganyard Hill Farm 319 Sherron Rd. Durham, NC 27703.

Permission Slips forms were sent home already. Make sure to return them as soon as possible.

·        October 31st: Costume Parade. We will start our costume parade at 10:00am. It will be a fun morning! Donations for healthy snack and treats for children are welcome.
