Sapitos Classroom

Week of (Semana
de): March 16th-20th
Theme of the Month/Week (Tema Del Mes/ Semana):
“My culture and traditions” (Mi cultura y
tradiciones)
Hello
Sapitos parents: I hope you had a great weekend! For this week we will learn
about cultures and traditions. The United States is one of the
most highly cultural diverse countries in the world, also known as the “Melting
Pot,” and with a large population, culture becomes an important
ingredient for the daily American life. This week we will have activities focus on similarities and contrasts, learning
to get along with others and having a good self-esteem. Also, we will talk the
importance of traditions in our family. Traditions propose great benefits: they
reinforce family’s bonds, enhance the time we share together, provide to our
children’s safety, and create profound memories.
Song of the Month/Week (Canción del mes/semana): Mi Pais

Muchas tradiciones hay por mi
Y hoy yo te quiero contar
