Week of July 20th-24th

Sapitos Class
Ms.Silvia & Ms .Amparo
Theme of the week: “The Dinosaurs”
Week of July 20th – July 24th

Hello Sapitos parents!
We hope you have had a great weekend. For this next week, our Sapitos will learn about “the dinosaurs” (los dinosaurios). Children will create the world of the dinosaurs, including where they live and what’s around them. There will be fun and creative activities in which children will develop skills, such as: fine-motor, hand-eye coordination, and science!
Also, children will make their favorite dinosaur using empty boxes and paper towel rolls. In addition, they will dig ice eggs to find dinosaur fossils. For Friday we will have the volcano experiment! What a fun week we have for our children!
At home you can make dinosaurs shoes using empty tissue boxes, encouraging your child to develop his/her creativity and imagination!
Recyclable Materials Needed This Week:
Part of our mission at summer camp is to work with recyclable materials. This week we will be collecting cones of paper towels and toothpaste boxes for our activities. Please bring as many as you can. Be on the lookout next week for what we will be recycling!

Friendly Reminders:
·        Splash days will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings. Please send your child wearing her/his swim suit and sunscreen on, thank you for your cooperation on this!
·        Please send your child’s towel, labeled with their name, and extra shoes and clothes as well.
·        Please take home the art that is in your child’s cubby.
Thank you notes:
Thank you for encouraging your child to follow our routine in class.  Your effort is valuable!
Have a great weekend!

Miss Silvia and Miss Amparo
