Our theme this week is Plastic Arts and our focus will be on
Painting and Sculpture.
This week we will be talking and learning about some of the most
important painters of the history of western painting.
The children will make different arts using tempera, finger
paint, and water color; they will also mold clay to make sculptures.
On Friday April 27th, to celebrate Earth's day our Sapitos will
plant flowers and clean up our playground, throughout the week we will discuss
how little things we do every day can impact our planet, like turning lights
off when going to the park, or the water right after we have washed our hands.
The words of this week are:
La pintura-Painting
La escultura-SculpturePintura Dactilar-Finger Paint
La tempera-tempera
El pincel-The brush
Moldear-mold
Reciclar-Recycle
Cuidar/proteger-take care
Plantar-to plant
We will review the shapes and we will incorporate the oval and the Pentagon, los Sapitos will have the opportunity to color, cut, and/or trace them.
Congratulations to Casey Arriaga our student
of the week.
Happy Birthday Serena Wright on her
birthday.
Have a great week
Make every Day Earth Day!
