Week of October 1-5th!!

Dear Sapitos Parents:

The theme for the next 2 weeks is “My Feelings/ Mis Sentimientos”. During this week we will focus in helping them to identify and label feelings. We will have fun activities like a scavenger’s hunt in the classroom. We will use a hat were feelings are hiding and will come up. We will sing songs and do art with a paper plate.

Also we will be introducing Tucker the turle, throught his story he will teach us how to handle difficult situations; following 3 simple steps:

1. Stop
2. Breath
3. Think.

The words of the week are:

I am : Me siento

Surprised: sorprendido

Happy: feliz

Sad: triste

Angry: enojado 

Special Activity:

We will make play dough which we will use to model and play with it.

* Thanks for the creativity and hard work put in our All Art together project. Children were very excited about it.

* Remember that every Friday a toy is allowed to your child.

* This week Xavier is our student of the week. Congrats!

* Sammy is ready to visit Ella’s home this week. Enjoy him!

* We will be working in our notebooks this week (straight lines, following dots). You can help your child practicing at home too.

* On October 26^th we will be going to Ganyard Hill Farm. Please remember to turn in you permission slips.
