Week of September 23rd- 27th !!!

Hello Parents!

We are so proud of the work that Sapitos Class has been doing. The last weeks our children had worked pretty well in their workbook. Excellent job! Please keep practicing at home holding firmly the pencil.

Our theme from this week is still “My senses” (Mis sentidos) where Sapitos Class will enforce and work in their senses as tasting, touching, smelling and more.

Words of the week:

Sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste/ Sentido de la vista, oido, olfato, tacto y gusto.

Acid/Acido, sweet/dulce,  bittersweet/agridulce, salty/salado,  bitter/agrio.

Special Activities:

Monday:  Lacing Shapes! (fine motor and math) and sight activities

Tuesday: Operation game (fine motor and  cognitive) and hearing activities

Wednesday: grasped with tweezers (fine motor and language) and touch activities

Thursday: We will cook Cereal Bars, make purses (fine motor) and tasting activities

Friday: smelling activities

Every day we work on their workbooks. If you have questions about the progress of your child, please feel free to talk to us.

Reminders:

·         The weather is changing so be sure to send your child with the appropriate clothes and their belonging labeled.

·         We already started “The Student of the Week”. Sadly, this week we don’t have one.  We don’t want to miss any of our kids so please if you haven’t signed yet check our list that is posted on the wall.

·         Please be on time so our children won’t miss any of our activities that are really important and children will involve easily and more confident in our circle time.

Special Message for Parents:

For the safety of our Sapitos, please make sure to send comfortable shoes to use during the day. They can bring their special pair of shoes to use if the like, but make sure to bring extra shoes just in case. Thanks!
