Week of (Semana de): October 28^th – November 1^st.

Theme of the Month/Week (Tema del Mes/Semana): “My Family/ Mi Familia”

This is the last week that we will be talking about The Family, and we will focus on the roles and responsabilities that everyone has in his/her family.

We also will have this week the visit of our friend The Policeman, who is going to remaind us the safety rules on Halloween.

The words are the same from the last week and the shapes are the circle and triangle.

Special events this week/Welcome/Birthdays (Eventos especiales esta semana/Bienvenida/Cumpleanos):

The Student of this week is Gabriel Haffey. Our children really enjoy having special time with the parents of our Student of the Week. This time we will be waiting for  Gabriel's parents to know more about our friend and family.

We have been enjoying the Family Tree that our children and their parents have done, our wall looks beautiful with all the arts. Thank you for your dedication and participation, your children had a great time talking and showing all the members of their families.

Friendly Remainders (Recordatorios a los Padres de Familia):

Please bring back the Book Worm sheet by Thursday 31^st, we will announce the winner of this month on November 1^st.

We will post a signup sheet outside the classroom for the parents who want to bring some healthy snacks or treats for our Costume Parade, like crackers, juices, stickers, play-dough, tattoos, bubbles, etc. Please, remember that our school is nut free, and avoid hard candy or any choking hazard items.

Wednesday 30rd- POLICE VISIT. We will have a special visit of the police department. They are coming to talk about safety during trick or treat!

Thursday 31^st: COSTUME PARADE. Time: 3.30 p.m., Where?  at the parking lot.
