Week of December 16th - 20th !!

Dear Parents:

Sapitos Class is doing a great job in pre-reading. Our children are enjoying and learning the sound of letter "a" and recognizing it in words. We are so proud of them! We will keep working on it during this week.

The theme of this week is "Personas alrededor del mundo" (people around the world) in which they will know different celebrations as Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, also the four seasons and we will keep working on the letter "a".

Words of the Week:

·         The seasons: las estaciones

·         spring: primavera

·         summer: verano

·         autumn: otoño

·         winter: invierno

·         clothing: vestimenta

Special Activity:

* We will make the letter "a" with shaving foam and in the sand.

* Christmas ornaments will be made in play dough!

* We will know about Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.

Friendly reminders:

* Elias Rivera is our student of the week! Enjoy your week!.

* Label your child's belongings. Be sure to leave extra appropriate clothes in the cubby. No food or toys allowed in the class, except in special activities.

* Santa is coming this Wednesday December 18^{t h}at Sff! don’t forget to bring a book wrapped for your child.

* On Friday 20th, please pick your child up no later than 2:45. Our Christmas Party will start at 4:00 pm. It is really important to arrive on time so we can have enough time to set up and prepare for this wonderful event. Thanks you for your support!
