Week of May 27th -30rd !!!

Week of (Semana de): May 27th – May 30th..    Theme of the Month/Week (Tema del Mest/Semana): “How things work /Como funcionan las cosas”
The Sapitos had a blast in their field trip to RDU Airport and Fire Station, with their parents and teachers. They came back to the school and they couldn’t stop talking about this great experience. They love to learn new thing every day.
This week we are going to talk about “the media”. We will see the different ways that people can communicate each other and how important are these in our daily life.

Special Events this week/Welcome/Birthdays (Eventos especiales esta semana/Bienvenida/Cumpleanos)
Darcy Demidovich will turn four very soon…We can’t wait to have another big girl in our classroom.

Friendly Remainders (Recordatorios  a los Padres de Familia):
A special activity is going to have place next Thursday, please send a blank envelope with a stamp on Tuesday, and you will have a surprise from your child next weekend.
Next week we will send home the Report Cards home, please read carefully your child’s assessment, this is the last one in this school year.
We have posted a Signup sheet outside the classroom for the Teacher/Parents Conference, if your child’s name in not on the list, and you want to have a conference with us, please feel free to write your name down at the time that fits best for you.
Don’t forget to visit the Science Fair and look how much your children have  learned through science experiments.

Homework these weeks (Tearea de estas semanas)
The Sapitos will continue practicing to write their names and numbers.
We will send a letter for Dad/Mom.
The Sapitos will also make some science experiments and art projects this week.

Thank you to all our wonderful parents for joining us last Friday at RDU Airport and Fire Station, we had so much fun.
Monday 26: Memorial Day Holiday- Sff is closed.
Tuesday 27 – Friday 30: Science Fair Week
