Sapitos Classroom
Miss Silvia and Miss Amparo
Week of February  16th- 20th
Theme of the Week “Cuidado de las plantas y flores” “Plants and Flowers care”

Hello Sapitos parents,
I hope you had a great week. As teachers, we are very proud of all the effort and dedication that our Sapitos have shown during learning activities in each theme week. Thank you parents for all the work you do at home with them. We know that without your help we could not see the wonderful progress and development in our children.
As the third theme in the series, this week we will continue talking about plants and flowers. They will learn how to grow plants and about the kind of things that promote growth, such as: water, soil, and air. We will have activities that demonstrate how children and adults can care plants and flowers to survive. To excite things, we will play pretend, being flowers children will try to reach one of the nature elements that plants and flowers need to be healthy without moving their feet so they can understand that plants can’t move but they can reach their roots out far underground in order to reach the nutrients and water from the ground.

Cuida tu alrededor,
A las plantitas respeta,
Por un mundo mejor cuida la naturaleza.

Poem of the week / Poesia
Mi plantita es muy bonita
Yo la tengo que regar
Cada día crece un poco
Por la luz que el sol le da

 Riddles/Adivinanza
Verde soy
Huelo muy bien
Crezco con flores, plantas
Y arboles también.
Respuesta: Las hojas
