Blog Title: Little Travelers
Classroom: Sapitos
Week: June 27th thru July 1st
Weekly Featured Theme:
Celebrating the country where we live
π
What are we learning?
Dear Sapitos Parents,
We would like to thank you
once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role
in your childβs life.
This week we will learn to
be little travelers and we will celebrate the country where we live. The
children will learn about interesting facts of USA. We are going to discuss
about the american flag, its color and the stars and what they represent. We
are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening
motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as pretending to travel across
different places in the US, building a plane with boxes and participating in a
flag parade on Friday.
Best Regards,
Miss Silvia & Miss
Sandra

π
Friendly Reminders
β
Make sure your child has extra sets of clothing in her/his
cubby.
β
Sunscreen and mosquito repellant are important to protect your
child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet
applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If
sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to
fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and
mosquito repellant should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito
repellant, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a ziploc
bag.
β
Apply sunscreen to your child at home in the morning. Sunscreen
will be applied to your child in the afternoons.
β
Take home your child projects from the cubby.
