Week of Feb 27th- Mar 02!

Dear Sapitos Parents:

THEME OF THE MONTH: ¨The Vegetable and Plant kingdom¨

This week will be a lot of fun, we will be learning about the vegetables. The Sapitos will color, cut and make a vegetable book. Also we will go over colors by observing some vegetables and talking about the benefits of eating them. On Thursday each child may bring to class his/her favorite vegetable to prepare a delicious salad.

Words of the week:

*The cucumber-El pepino

*The pumpkin-La calabaza

*The pepper- El pimiento

*The carrot-La zanahoria

*The lettuce-La lechuga

*The broccoli-El brocoli

*The celery-El apio

Next week will be sending home the report card. The Sapitos will have Wednesday March 7^th from 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. available for parent/ teacher meetings, so that we can discuss the progress of your child. There will be a list on the door if you would like to meet with me.

Reminder: please send a small blanket, small pillow or small stuffed animal for nap time; we have very limited cubby space. Thank you!
