Week of January 21st - 24th !!!

Dear Sapitos Parents:

Last week, our children had so much fun learning about the space and traveling to the planets, great! During next week, Sapitos Class will work with the topic “La Tierra” (The Earth) in which children will understand how the Earth works, what gravity is, day & night, and more!

Words of the week:

·        Gravity: gravedad

·        Day/ night: día/ noche

·        Cold/ hot: frio/ calor

·        Layers of the earth: capas de la tierra

Special Activities:

We will make different experiments to understand the gravity, to compare the layers of the earth with an egg, and to understand how the day/ night work.

Friendly Reminders:

+ Kieran Manfre is turning 4 this January 24^th. Congratulations, you are a big boy!

+ We want to thank all of you for your help, bringing the material to work with our children.

+ Our last student of the week is Wilfrid. We are excited to meet his family, know a little more about his favorite games, food, trips and all about him! After Wilfrid´s week, we will start traveling with Sammy, the froggy. Our signup sheet is posted out of our class.

+ Because our cubbies aren’t as big as we would like, we appreciate if you just leave one jacket to your child and 2 appropriate clothes. Also, Monica´s jacket is missing, Her jacket is labeled as “Perez” if by mistake, you took it, we will be thankful for sending it back.

+ We recognize the effort you are doing working with your child at home. They are doing a great job in pre reading and pre writing. We are still working with the letter E, if your child has a toy or object that begins in Spanish with this letter, you can send it (estrella, elefante, espejo) Muy bien clase!

+ Sff! will be closed this Monday 20^th.
