Hello Sapitos Parents: We would like to say THANK YOU to all of you for your great participation and collaboration in our Thanksgiving celebration. Our Sapitos’ performance was rewarded with your presence, they were so proud and happy to have you participating in this event. We couldn't do this without your help. GRACIAS.

This week our children will be learning about another important theme: My community, and how people work hard to help our community be safe and secure. We will be talking about Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Policemen, Firefighters, Handymen, Mailmen, Chef, etc.

As every year, we will have the visit of the Policemen and Firefighters. Of course, our wonderful parents will be involved in the theme visiting our classroom to make our Sapitos understand better the job of our community servers.

The Student of the Week is Aria Johnson You can bring your favorite toy, book, or picture during this week to share with your friends.

Dr. Jakubowicz and Mrs. McDonna will be visiting our classroom to explain the children a doctor’s job and a nurse’s job. If you would like to participate sharing your profession with our Sapitos, please contact the teachers to find a date.

Friendly Reminders:

· The Family project for this month will be a Christmas ornament. We will be sending home the template at the end of the week, check your child’s cubbie.

·  Please don’t forget to label all your child’s belongings (jacket, hat, gloves) to avoid any missing items.

·  Please don’t forget to bring your child’s blanket on Monday, and take it home every Friday to wash it.

Important Upcoming Dates:

December 29: our HOLIDAY PARTY will be held at Cary Art Center (downtown Cary) from 4:15 – 5:30pm. You will receive a letter from us next week with more detail about this event and more information about any costume that we may need so we can start preparing in advance.
