Theme of the Week : Proyecto de Navidad / Holiday Projects
Hello Sapitos Parents:
I hope you had a great week!
There is no more special time of year than Holiday Season! Family, friends, food, and music –did I mention music? Our Sapitos love to dance! They are doing an excellent job practicing every day, what I like most is to see how they have fun doing it!
The last week they were participating in different activities which encouraged them to express their love, care, and kindness helping to others. Holidays is a time which we want as teachers to teach to children to feel the pleasure of giving.
During the next week our Sapitos will learn to develop good attitudes and habits that can be celebrated during the Holidays. For example, being thankful for every gift received, being solitude with family, friends, and teachers. We will pretend to have a Holiday party at the classroom, we will dance, play music and open gifts!!! We will be reading also wonderful books that will help them to feel motivated to do it.

Special Events, Welcome and Birthdays.
We want to welcome to Solana Blue Mack to Sapitos class. Solana is a girl that has been in Spanish for Fun since she was two months of age. I had the privilege to be her first teacher and I am so excited to be with her again!
Friendly Reminders:
· Make sure your child has extra clothes at their cubby.
· Help us bringing your child before 9:30 we will have our practice for the performance every day in the morning at 9:45 am doing this; we can give more time to them to understand what they doing at practice.
December 31st
If you have not yet notified if your child will come the 31st, please let the teachers know or you can send an email to Miss Cynthia or Miss Vero so they can start planning accordingly.
DVD Fundraising
Do not let go the opportunity to buy the DVD of our Holiday Party, the cost is only $20 and you will have beautiful pictures and video. For more information you can contact Miss Cynthia or Miss Vero.
Important Upcoming Dates:
December 24th &25th: School closed for the Holidays
December 26th: Kwanzaa
December 26th: School closed for Teacher’s Work Day
December 29: HOLIDAY PARTY at Cary Arts Center. Arrival time at 3.45 pm, Show starts at 4.00 pm
January 1st: School closed for New Year’s Day

We want to thank all of you that helped your children to decorate their ornament for our door decoration! Gracias for supporting our activities!
We want also thank for our Santa visiting (Mr. Perry) Gracias for bringing happiness to children and teachers!
For all those parents that are helping us working with their children memorizing their part at the performance thanks a lot! They are working hard and doing an excellent job! We are very proud of each one of them!
