Week of: January 5th. – January 9th.
Theme of the month: “Los Animales/The Animals “
Hello Sapitos Parents:
I hope you had a beautiful end of the year! We are so thankful for all the wonderful presents that you kindly gave to Miss Amparo and me. Thanks for making us feel loved! Also, I can’t forget to mention our Sapitos participation in the performance in our Holiday Party! We are so proud of all of them! They demonstrated so much talent with their public performance. The old year has ended and the New Year has just begun! We are so excited for the many goals and purposes for 2015. One of them is leading our Sapitos to new experiences and activities that we know our children love to have. For that reason, I ask for your support in our themed activities of the week. If you have pets (dogs and cats) please bring them to our class on Monday. We will pretend to have our own “Pet Smart” in the classroom! Children will learn how to care for them, this is very important for our pets. For those who have animals who live on a farm please bring them on Tuesday. We will pretend we’re on a farm and children will be farmers! They will learn the difference between each animal that lives on a farm including: what they eat, where they sleep, a farmer’s daily care routine for animals.
Song of the Month/Week (Canción del mes/semana): Canción Animales de la Granja
Mi abuelita tiene, una granja bella
Con animalitos y flores muy bellas,
Ahora este jueguito de imitar sonidos
Tú lo haces primero y luego tu amiguito
El perrito ladra (sonido)
El gato maulla (sonido)
El gallito canta (sonido)
La vaca estornuda (sonido)
El conejo salta
El caballo trota
Y los pajaritos la canción entonan
Poem of the week / Poesia
Los zorros en el monte
Las gallinas en el corral
Los peces en el rio
Y los patitos dicen cua cua cua
Riddles/Adivinanza
Sale de noche
Miau miau
Duerme de dia
Miau miau
Le gusta la carne
Y la leche fría
Respuesta: El gato
Twister/Trabalengua
El hipopótamo hipo
Esta con hipo
Quien le quita el hipo
Al hipopótamo hipo
