Week of February 2nd-6th
Theme of the Week
“Conociendo las Plantas” "Knowing Plants"
The growth and development of a plant is one of the
most spectacular events in nature. Yet, because it happens so slowly, over the
course of days or weeks, it is difficult to observe in real time. For that
reason, we will watch a video segment that depicts plant growth in a time-lapse
format, allowing children to observe in just a few seconds some of the most
important life stages of a plant, from germination to the formation of a
flower, and several phases in between.
Song of the Week:
Canción de las Plantas
Un día en el parque jugando
estaba
Cuida tu alrededor,
A las plantitas respeta,
Por un mundo mejor cuida la naturaleza.
Yo la tengo que regar
Cada día crece un poco
Por la luz que el sol le da
Riddles/Adivinanza
Verde soyHuelo muy bien
Crezco con flores, plantas
Y arboles también.
