Week of November 23rd-25th

Week of November 23th – November 25th
Theme of the week:  “Thanksgiving”

Hola Sapitos Parents:
This week will be very special week for all of us. We are going to celebrate Thanksgiving Day as a family! it’s a great day to give thanks for the beautiful things we have achieved in life, including: our family, the children, our work, the food we eat every day, our friends, and all the people that are part of the great  Sff! family. During this week, we will do special activities with children, including: Thanksgiving cards, dramatized stories, songs, and our thanksgiving celebration on Wednesday.

Our objectives by areas this week are:
Socio-emotional: Knows whether she/he is a boy or a girl.
Cognitive: Identifies different figures.
Physical Development: Enjoys art activities.
Language: Discriminate the vowel “I and O”

Homework of the week
Make sure to take home your child’s notebook this Friday to reinforce the activities that we are working in class. Please bring them back on Monday.

Special Events, Welcome and Birthdays (Eventos especiales, Bienvenidas y Estudiante de la Semana):
The student of the week is Daniel Kingston, we can’t wait to know everything about you (favorite toy, book, food, places to go, etc.).

Friendly Reminders:
     Take your child’s blanket every Friday to wash it.
     Make sure your child has extra clothes and jacket or sweater it is getting cold outside.
     Motivate your child to count from 1-20.

Upcoming Activities:
      November 25th: Thanksgivings celebration, we will be sharing a special morning snack in our classroom. Parents are encouraged to bring a dish to share during morning snack 10:00 am.
       November 26th -27th: School closed.
December 16th : Holiday Party.
