Week of December 21st – December 25th

Theme of the week: “Christmas Projects”

Hola Sapitos Parents:

We are all very happy because Christmas is just around the corner. It is a moment of great joy for all as we come together to celebrate love, peace, unity, and sharing. The children are very happy because they will receive gifts and they will enjoy the traditions of each of you as a family to celebrate Christmas. That is why we will conduct activities this week to promote the value of love, friendship, and sharing. We’ll work on art where children will express their feelings about Christmas.  Also we’ll make Christmas cards for someone special and finally we will enjoy songs and Christmas stories.

Our objectives by areas this week are:
Socio-emotional: Cleans up and puts toys away after playing.
Cognitive: Identifies different figures.
Physical Development: Holds pencil properly.

Language: Expresses his/her ideas and experiences.

Special Events, Welcome and Birthdays (Eventos especiales, Bienvenidas y Estudiante de la Semana):

The student of the week is Oliver Badia, we can’t wait to know everything about you (favorite toy, book, food, places to go, etc.).

Friendly Reminders:

·         Make sure your child washes their hands when they arrive to the classroom.

·         Take all art works that are in your child’s cubby.

·         Encourage your child to stay calm when you bring her/him at school before circle time so she/he can have free time to play. Circle time starts at 8:45 a.m.

·         The morning snack is from 9:00am -9:20 am. Thank you!

Upcoming Activities:

December 24^th-25^th: school Closed Christmas Holiday.

December 31th: School closes at 12:30pm.

January 1th: Happy New Year!
