Week of December 28^th--January 1^st

Theme of the week:  “Ancient traditions”

Dear Sapitos Parents,

I hope you have had a good time celebrating Christmas and holidays. For this next week children will learn more about ancient traditions. Children will compare how the different things were in the past, including: the style of dressing in the old times, how some places looked before and how they look now, and how the lifestyle used to be harder than it is. Also, we will have a doll dressing activity. The children will make the clothes for their doll using paper tissue. Please bring a doll for this activity on Monday.

Holiday Closures

Please remember that Spanish for fun! Is closed on the following dates:

- December 31st: Early Release 12:30 pm

- January 1st: Happy New Year!

Please

·         Make sure your child wash her/his hand when she/he arrives    in the classroom.

·         Take home all art work that is in your child’s cubby.

·         Encourage your child to play gently with other children in the classroom.
