Week of January 18^th – January 22^nd

Theme of the week: “Medios de comunicacion personales y de entretenimiento/ personal media and entertainment.”

Hola Sapitos Parents:

Over the past week we have been learning about the media that allow us to be informed, during this week we will continue working with personal media and entertainment such as mail, the Internet, Google, YouTube, movies among others. Also we’ll learn about the security measures that we have with the use of the internet and appropriate content according to the age of the children. Also on Friday we’ll pretend that we enjoy in the cinema by viewing the movie in the lobby.

At home you can help your child by sharing letters, using your home mailbox, ask your child to help you get the letters in the mailbox. Also you can help your child by talking about the security measures we have in use Internet and the dangers that people and children exposed to that environment.

Our objectives by areas this week are:
Socio-emotional: Draws a human figure.
Cognitive: Recognizes and names shapes like circle, square, triangle.
Physical Development: Holds Scissors properly.

Language: Stays interested in a book from beginning to end.

Friendly Reminders:

·         Make sure your child washes their hands when they arrive to the classroom.

·         Take all art works that are in your child’s cubby.

·         Encourage your child to stay calm when you bring them at school before circle time so they can have free time to play. Circle time starts at 8:45 a.m.
