Theme of the Week (Tema De la Semana): “The green world” “El mundo verde”

 
Hello Sapitos Parents,

I hope you had a great weekend! We have enjoyed teaching our sapitos more about nature, plants, flowers and trees. This week children will learn about orchards and what type of fruits or vegetables can grow in them. They will be taught about the best season to grow some fruits and vegetables. Additionally, we have scheduled an orchard art project by using recycled materials. We will also make a smoothie on Friday with some fruits and vegetables to show the children how different fruits and vegetables can be mixed into a delicious drink!

Development Objectives

Cognitive – Follow instructions

Physical- Start to identify left and right in his/her body

Language- Complete sentences in Spanish

Social- Mention his/her full name

Special Events, Welcome and Birthdays

Our pet “Sammy” will travel this week to the Campbell’s house. He is excited to spend time playing with them. Please share pictures with the classroom.

Friendly Reminders

●        Bring extra clothes and blanket for your child.

●        Take home all art works that are in your child’s cubby.

●        Do not bring your child’s toys since they are not allowed in the classroom.

●        Circle time starts at 8:45 am. Drop your child a few minutes before, so she/he can have play with other children.
