Theme of the
Week (Tema De la Semana): “The Trees” “Los arboles”
Dear Sapitos Parents,
I
hope you had a great weekend! Children have had so much fun while learning
about nature. This week we will be teaching about “the trees.” Children will be
able to distinguish the different kind of trees, its importance and
benefits. The children will experience
with tree textures and girth by getting in touch with the nature.
They
will also learn how trees support life of other organisms such as animals.
Sapitos will learn what kind of animals live and nest in trees, what kind of
fruits animals eat from trees and tips to take care of them.
Please
encourage your child to clean his/her toys after playing with them at home. We
will continue working with children in this area in the classroom. Thank you
for your support!
Development
objectives for this week:
Cognitive
– Discriminates vowels both visually and by ear.
Physical-
Traces curved lines.
Language-
Writes and read his/her name.
Social-
Knows to wait for his/her turn and Picks up the toys after playing with them.
Happy Birthday
We want to wish a Happy Birthday to Glenn Wright who will be turning 4 years old on April 23rd! Feliz Cumpleaños.
Traveling pet
Gideon Bartel will be taking "Sammy" our traveling pet. He is so excited to visit his house. Don’t forget to take picture to share with your classmates.
