Theme of the Month/Week (Tema Del Mes/ Semana):
People, music, and countries around the world (Gente, musica y paises alrededor del mundo)
Salutation and highlights of week (Saludo y resumen de las actividades importantes de la semana):
Hello Sapitos parents I hope you had a great week!
Music is a privileged means of expression and part of the socio-cultural development of a culture. Music is a tool that permits us to listen, share, and strengthen family and community ties. Music is strongly related to the creation, freedom, participation, identity, and affection of each and every one of us. Achieving this makes playing music with others a source of immense pleasure.
For this week we will talk about music and people from the Asian Continent. Children will learn more about the music from countries such as China their music has accompanied them in joy, pleasure, and sometimes, in pain and misery. Music is present in every moment of life.
For example, in certain places in China, there is a tradition that when a prince heritor is born, a music teacher, with the help of other musicians, will write a song for the new prince so that his name is honored and well-defined.
We will pretend to eat Chinese food! We will encourage children use chop sticks and imitate rice noodles for strings. Also, we will watch a video in which children can see different dances from countries such as India!
Song of the Month/Week (Canción del mes/semana):
CANCION LAVARSE LAS MANOS
Si tus manitas sucias están
Con jaboncito tú las lavarás
Uno, dos, tres, espuma tu harás
Cuatro, cinco, seis, con agua jugarás
Siete, ocho, nueve, con toalla secaras
Cuando cuentes diez ya limpias están (x2)
Contando hasta el veinte
Espuma tu harás
Y todos los gérmenes
Muy lejos se irán.
Poem of the week
Alrededor del mundo
Hay muchas personas como tú y como yo
Su música y su país es diferente
Y a todas ellas les doy
mi amor y admiración.
Adivinanza 1
Buenas y sonoras
Cuerdas tengo
Cuando me rascan
A la gente entretengo.
Respuesta: La guitarra

No tiene llaves
¿Quién se ha llevado las llaves
Del anillo del llavero?
