Week of April 6th  April 10th
Theme of the Week: "People, music and countries around the world"

Hello Sapitos Parents:
To prepare our children for our big event: the “International Party”, this week our children will have a special activity visiting all the classrooms in Sff, taking to the teachers from different Latin American countries and inviting them to have a short demonstration of their dances. As you know, we have teachers from Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico y Peru.

This last quarter we will focus on specific and developmental appropriate activities to reinforce the pre-writing skills. How the children hold the pencil is critical, for this reason when you help your children write at home, be sure they use a “Dynamic tripod”, which is the most comfortable and efficient grasp: The thumb is bent, the forefinger and middle finger form an open ring, the arm and wrist stay still, and the fingers move in and out of the palm. If teachers and parents work together in this task, we know our children will get the necessary confidence to succeed.
